WHO WE ARE
The Board of Directors of the Elvin Howard Sr. Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Foundation are a group of seasoned professionals which includes a physician, a retired Southern University nursing professor, a retired and a current public school administrator, a police sergeant, a public policy expert, a practicing attorney, and a clinical-community psychologist.

Social determinants of health will never be an obstacle to preventing, diagnosing, treating, and curing pancreatic cancer or any other chronic health condition.

Reduce pancreatic cancer deaths and family hardships through awareness, advocacy, and support.

President
Sgt. Elvin Howard Jr. is a 20-year veteran of the Baton Rouge Police Department and is currently serving in the Community Services Division.
Monteic A. Sizer, Ph.D.
Vice President
Reverend Dr. Monteic A. Sizer has over 30 years of experience in leading people and currently serves as Executive Director of Northeast Delta Human
Services Authority.
Bertha Howard, R.N., M.S.N
Treasurer
Bertha Howard is a retired Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Associate Professor of Nursing, with a Master of Science degree in Family Nursing.
Veronica Howard Sizer, Esq.
Secretary
Reverend Veronica Howard Sizer, Esq. is an attorney who has been certified to practice law since 1994 and has been ministering to children, women and families for over 30 years.
