WHO WE ARE
The Board of Directors of the Elvin Howard Sr. Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy Foundation are a group of seasoned professionals which includes a physician, a retired Southern University nursing professor, a retired and a current public school administrator, a police sergeant, a public policy expert, a practicing attorney, and a clinical-community psychologist.
OUR VISION
Pancreatic cancer will be rare, early detection will be common, and those diagnosed will get timely treatment, receive comprehensive support, and be cured of the disease.
OUR MISSION
Reduce pancreatic cancer deaths and family hardships by supporting research, pancreatic cancer survivors, their caregivers and families.

President
Sgt. Elvin Howard Jr. is a 20-year veteran of the Baton Rouge Police Department and is currently serving in the Community Services Division.

Monteic A. Sizer, Ph.D.
Vice President
Reverend Dr. Monteic A. Sizer has over 30 years of experience in leading people and currently serves as Executive Director of Northeast Delta Human
Services Authority.

Bertha Howard, M.S.N., R.N.
Treasurer
Bertha Howard is a retired Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Associate Professor of Nursing, with a Master of Science degree in Family Nursing.

Veronica Howard Sizer, Esq.
Secretary
Reverend Veronica Howard Sizer, Esq. is an attorney who has been certified to practice law since 1994 and has been ministering to children, women and families for over 30 years.

Robert Lee Signater Sr., M.Ed.
Robert Lee Signater, Sr., is an Asst. Principal at Glen Oaks High school and is a 26-year employee of the EBR parish public school system.

Yolonda Spooner, M.D.
Dr. Yolonda Spooner is a Louisiana licensed and board-certified Family Practitioner who has 17 years of combined practice and administrative experience.

Wendell Mack, M.Ed.
Coach Wendell Mack is a retired and accomplished executive, earning 16 years of experience as an Assistant Principal, then Principal and has a total of 41 years in the field of education.
